** Description changed: After shutting down, i always get this errors: - sudo tail -f /var/log/preload.log + sudo tail -f /var/log/preload.log [Tue Dec 11 01:10:55 2012] successfully renamed /var/lib/preload/preload.state.tmp to /var/lib/preload/preload.state [Tue Dec 11 01:10:55 2012] saving state done [Tue Dec 11 01:10:55 2012] freeing state memory begin [Tue Dec 11 01:10:55 2012] failed to rename /var/lib/preload/preload.state.tmp to /var/lib/preload/preload.state [Tue Dec 11 01:10:55 2012] freeing state memory done [Tue Dec 11 01:10:55 2012] exiting [Tue Dec 11 09:24:54 2012] loading conf from /etc/preload.conf [Tue Dec 11 09:24:54 2012] loading state from /var/lib/preload/preload.state [Tue Dec 11 09:24:54 2012] failed reading state from /var/lib/preload/preload.state: line 1715: duplicate index [Tue Dec 11 09:24:54 2012] Exiting I have to delete all lines in preload.state, except the first line (PRELOAD 0.6.4 25040). Deleting preload.state will cause "file not found" error. After doing this, preload works again. I tried to delete the duplicate lines, but then there are other errors. Just an example, there are a lot of other "duplicates" in preload.state: Content of line 1715 in preload.state: MAP 530 8460 28672 4096 -1 file:///usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpciaccess.so.0.11.1 Line 925: MAP 527 8460 32768 2093056 -1 file:///usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpciaccess.so.0.11.1 Line 1732: MAP 531 8460 32768 4096 -1 file:///usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpciaccess.so.0.11.1 Line 1782: MAP 529 8460 32768 4096 -1 file:///usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libpciaccess.so.0.11.1 - Linux Mint 14 Nadia - Release: 14 - (Ubuntu 12.10) + Linux Mint 14 Nadia (64-Bit), Release: 14 (Ubuntu 12.10) + with xfce4 4.10 preload 0.6.4-2
