Hi, same "problem" for me, using latest Ubuntu distro (12.10) and latest gnome-terminal in repos (3.6.0).
This feature would be very useful, I also have to install all KDE/Qt Konsole's dependencies for only one entry in a menu. So, same question: Would it be possible to add this feature to gnome- terminal ?
