Seems the issue is not completely gone but less pronounced. Now every now and then the mouse feels a little "sticky" when I push it but will speed up to normal responsiveness after a short delay (about half a second). If you move it straight, it will then feel normal, however, it does still react a little slowly to direction changes. This is already much better than the behavior I get from the stock kernel - with the stock kernel, moving the mouse feels like stirring honey, with the rc8 kernel it is more like moving it off a chewing gum - once you've detached yourself from it, everything moves smoothly.
I've therefore added 'kernel-bug-exists-upstream' because it is not yet completely gone, although it's an improvement over the current stock kernel. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1087677 Title: Mouse response sporadically sluggish To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1087677/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
