OK, first, starting off with Quantal and latest updates to recreate: bladernr@GarbageScow:~$ uname -a Linux GarbageScow 3.5.0-19-generic #30-Ubuntu SMP Tue Nov 13 17:48:01 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
On mains, I did 20 suspend/resumes by closing and opening the lid with no issue. On Battery only, 20 more suspend/resumes with no issue. Finally, I did 20 with AC on suspend, battery on resume, again with no issues.
