Steps to reproduce. Work with LibreOffice Writer as a normal user would. There is no apparent specific action which triggers the loss of menu functionality. I just am working on the document as normal, and need to go to Format Paragraph, or File Open, etc. and it just does not work. Closing Libre- Office and opening it again cause the menus to work again.
