Public bug reported: Hi, The problem is this: - I have a Realteak rtl 8169 Gigabit, and all the time, the NIC don't work with linux. Sometimes she conects, you can work for some time, and then , she completly shutsdowns, and even if you shutdown the machine, she never load again. (after the kernel start loading the Network stuff) Soo, for what i can see this is a related problem with the rtl8169 driver, that came with the kernel.
