Since Firefox 17 (release 20/10/2012), Firefox OS and Firefox on Android could read H.264 and mp3 with some device: https://hacks.mozilla.org/2012/11/h264-video-in-firefox-for-android/ Mozilla chande this point of view because Google chrome who could read both, WebM and H264.
