Alright, here are the logs.  One with default settings (in particular,
"tsched=1") and one with "tsched=0".  In both cases I ran "arecord -f cd
-d 3 test-mic.wav" followed by "aplay test-mic.wav".  (To verify that
the recordings is distorted with "tsched=1" but not with "tsched=0".)  I
also attach the difference of the equivalent logs without timestampts
(since they muddy up the diff).
