Public bug reported: After scanning an image the head does not get back to it's starting position but stays where it left of the last time.
This started happening (IIRC) on the transition between 10.10 and 11.04. before it did return home. This makes: a) scans take longer to start, b) impossible to lock the scanner head prior to transporting it. It seems someone has a fix for this in the debian bugtracker: http://arch.debian.org/tracker/?func=detail&atid=410366&aid=313909&group_id=30186 output of sane-findscanner: found USB scanner (vendor=0x04a9 [Canon], product=0x2213 [CanoScan]) at libusb:002:006 Thanks!
