Public bug reported: Today I was updating my package list with apt-get update and then running a dist-upgrade while I was also wanting to instlal chromium by searching in the dash, right-clicking and installing the package. There was no installation and no feedback that the installation could not happen at the current time - this gives a sub-optimal experience.
