Public bug reported:

Since upgrading to 12.10 from 12.04, resuming from suspend-to-RAM
freezes the machine. The machine is unresponsive with a blank screen and
must be switched off by holding the power-switch in order to reboot.
Power and wifi LEDs remain lit, but no disk access is apparent.

Please let me know if you require further logs or system information and
I will happily supply it.
