There are many reports about drivers not working for touchpad. This touchpad seem's to be completely broken... Lenovo's Driver Site has the following Windows-drivers for download: Touchpad Driver (Synaptics, ElanTECH) 16.2.10.3/11.4.3.3 TouchPad Driver (Cypress, Synaptics, ElanTech) 2.3.7.25/15.3.39.0/10.4.2.8 I've tried the following methods to trigger hardware detection, without success 8-( - modprobe psmouse proto=imps - kernel parameters: i8042.noloop=1 (and also i8042.debug i8042.reset i8042.nomux i8042.nopnp i8042.noloop) - tpconfig -i (but this command also on a PC without PS2 Port shows the same message) Found Synaptics Touchpad. Firmware: 8.96 (multiple-byte mode). Sensor type: unknown (0). Geometry: rectangular/landscape/up. Packets: absolute, 80 packets per second. Corner taps disabled; no tap gestures. Edge motion: none.
