Public bug reported: This bug has been previously reported for 11.04 and was 'patched' but not effectively.
The RT3090BC4 card in my laptop works fine on the WiFi front as of Linux >3.0 however, the Bluetooth is hit and miss. Usually I have it disabled as I don't use it that often and it drains battery, but once in a while the need arises. You can turn the Bluetooth on and off during a normal session but anything else such as setting up a device is a no go...unless you reboot with Bluetooth switched on and then it works as expected, if you then reboot again with Bluetooth off the steps to enable it must be repeated, if left on it'll still be enabled upon reboot.
