Public bug reported: My ubuntu box have a serial port and a barcode scanner on in. Scanner can operate only at 9600 baud rate, 1 stop bit and a parity check, but serial port have another parameters by default, so the scanner doesn't work.
I can set up /dev/ttyS0 using stty with a lot of parameters, after reading a lot of documentation. But I think this process can be not so complicated - using some kind of grapgical configuration tool. ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Can't set up serial port simly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/124380 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
