Marked as fixed in Debian 1.7.1.2-1. Since Ubuntu went beyond this version in Natty (1.7.1.3-1), I presume this is fixed in the current stable (and LTS release), and am marking it as such.
If you need a fix for the bug in previous versions of Ubuntu, then the relevant procedure is documented here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates However, I'm not sure this bug would qualify under that policy, although I am not on the SRU team and cannot make that decision. ** Changed in: socat (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1079032 Title: execs children with SIGCHLD ignored To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/socat/+bug/1079032/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
