I'm sorry for not making a comment regarding my adding the needs-bisect
tag, as I just recently moved from the NE USA to SW, and it has been
quite hectic. Despite this, the needs-bisect tag is a tracker tag noting
the commit causing the regression has not been identified yet. For more

Due to how you tested kernel 3.2.0-23 in Quantal, but you said that this
was not a problem in Precise environment, this bug seems correlated to
something userspace related. One way to provide evidence towards this
would be to test the Oneiric kernel in Quantal. Could you please do this
