Pardon for delay. I have never used tracing, so after a bit of googling and reading a couple of man pages, got "apport-retrace" tool installed from ubuntu software center.
Launched skype, tried to send the file, skype crashed, crash report generated in /var/crash, used "apport-retrace -o Skypetrace _usr_bin_skype.1000.crash" command. But there comes an error "apport-retrace -o Skypetrace _usr_bin_skype.1000.crash ERROR: report file does not contain one of the required fields: CoreDump DistroRelease Package ExecutablePath" Am I doing what you have asked....? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1069618 Title: Skype App crashes when sending files To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/skype/+bug/1069618/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
