Hello Clint, I just want to report you this: the MYSQL-SERVER services is working today finally after multiple tryies... ALLELUYA !!! after 6 months of nightmare.... I made my last try one more time the last week, and i win. this is the story:
First I uninstalled all SQL modules, reference, store in the Aptitude admin reference, applications of databases ( cgi tools, etc), then I erase manually any dir about mysql-stuffs. I upgrade my ubuntu system at last version (october 2012 trought actualization tool) .. and reboot. Finaly, i checked no one mysql--process style alive, kill any case... then I process de apt-get installation server and client mysql process as normal. and ---VOILA, I recived the MYSQLD-- up OK !!!!! thank you again for the concerns of Ubuntu team, but as i you sayed, there spend 6 MONTH of try and errors to gain this. regards.
