*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 333366 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/333366
#781931 has been closed, as a fix was released. I guess this qualifies as a regression, as this is still occurring for me on a fresh 12.10 64-bit installation: - Open Google Chrome with a window already open and focused - Google Chrome does not gain focus, despite appearing as expected on top of existing windows - Keyboard input is directed to the previously active window instead of the new Chrome window, causing much tribulation The number of times I've opened Chrome and then for some reason used alt-f4 to close it immediately and instead accidentally closed the window behind (still the active one)! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/864233 Title: New Window doesn't take focus once launched To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/compiz-core/+bug/864233/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
