I don't think this bug is confined solely to fglrx. I'm running a clean install of Arch Linux and using vga_switcheroo with xf86-video-intel and xf86-video-ati and when I switch to the Radeon card X segfaults in an almost identical way. Don't know of the root causes are the same...
