To me the calendar is shown in the current language also in Raring. If I remember it correctly, the calendar wasn't instantly shown in the current language when I tested the fix (in Quantal). After a few logouts/logins - possibly including language switches - it suddenly started to work. Please don't ask me why. ;-)
