Hi Nick, i was trying to make a clear path for myself on how to approach this from what you've found out and I can't get my head around it somehow. Could you possibly summarize how people can now try to use the PPA you provide and/or what is missing in order to properly configure the proprietary fglrx drivers (either fglrx or fglrx-updates or the fglrx in your PPA; with our without the intel package from your PPA). Also from the note of Chris WIllson that he wrote the fault lies not with the intel driver but the fglrx and their failure to support the newer X.org stack, would a newer fglrx drive (amd catalyst 12 or higher) be advised to wait for?
