OK, I wouldn't want to jinx it but I've been using live version of 10.04.4 for four hours now, did several suspend-to-ram and mouse was smooth all the time! I also did not see any kworker processes running, which are present in newer releases. I noticed them to spike CPU usage and change priority to realtime when mouse is jerky. Now I see I did not write it here soooo.
