According to this post https://lists.launchpad.net/ubuntu-audio- dev/msg00290.html the script eliminating crackling sound when suspending the computer is considered as obsolete. I don't think so. I'm attaching the script file here.
- save the script to your home folder - copy the script to the pm-utils folder sudo cp ~/01PulseAudio /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d - set the execute flag on it sudo chmod 755 /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/01PulseAudio - to remove the workaround sudo rm /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/01PulseAudio ** Attachment added: "01PulseAudio" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/886975/+attachment/3419574/+files/01PulseAudio -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/886975 Title: Lenovo sound chip Conexant CX20549 Venice doesn't work correctly.
