doing: echo "module-init-tools install"|dpkg --set-selections

unlocked module-init-tools. I crossed my fingers and did update-initramfs. Same
warning appeared. I rebooted and I'm writing from new kernel images. So, that
warning is not announcing obstruction...
Conclusion: there is a problem still in kmod but it is not fatal, at least I
dodged a bullet this time...
