Public bug reported:

The Gmail icon doesn't show in the messaging menu after updating to Quantal.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Install gm-notify and set it up
2) Run gm-notify with ALT+F2 or in terminal
3) Open the messaging menu
What's expected: A Gmail icon with the count of unread emails
What i got: There is no Gmail icon in the menu
