Thanks Chris, today I've installed the 3.7-rc2-quantal packages, I got
some errors while installing because VirtualBox complains about being
not able to update modules with DKMS, and on system login I got an
error:

"Software index is broken

It is impossible to install or remove any software. Please use the
package manager "Synaptic" or run "sudo apt-get install -f" in a
terminal to fix this issue at first."

when running the sudo apt-get install -f it tries to uninstall linux-
headers-3.7.0-030700rc2-generic, but I choose not to uninstall.
VirtualBox is not that important for me right now, so I'll test for this
kernel for a couple of days to see if all works as expected and hope the
system freezes disappear.

Regards.
