So this probably indicates that you have local or outdated versions of some
packages installed.  The following command should give a more detailed
explanation (*very* detailed, so you probably want to capture the output to
a file and post it to this bug):

 sudo apt-get -oDebug::pkgProblemResolver=true install skype
