If I don't use the acpi_osi= kernel parameter in Lucid, the brightness hotkeys 
do not work. (see comment #21) 
Remark: all my comments and attached files until comment #21 are without 
acpi_osi=  (except the "when adding the acpi_osi= [snip] any more." sentence in 
the bug description)

According to http://www.kernel.org/doc/Documentation/kernel-
parameters.txt says acpi_osi= disables all strings in the "list of
supported OS interface strings". Would it help if i indicate the content
of this list? (if yes, where can i find this list?)
