>"Hi Christoffer,
I would need your help please.
Yesterday, I did many tests and narrowed down the issue. I tested around 10
versions of linux kernel by checking out a specific tag version. It seems that
the problem has been introduced on Lucid, between Ubuntu-2.6.31-14.48 (good)
and Ubuntu-2.6.32-1.1 (bad)."

Thank you for working on narrowing down which two releases this
regression occurred in. However, Ubuntu-2.6.32-1.1 does not exist as per
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/lucid/+source/linux . The next release
after 2.6.31-14.48 is 2.6.32-2.2. Did you mean this one? As well, no
such page exists for
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/2.6.32-1.1 , but does for
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/2.6.32-2.2 .

Could you please let me know how to proceed please?"

If you need more granular support, you are welcome to contact the Ubuntu
Kernel Team via the methods found at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam#Communications .

Thanks a lot,
David"
