In order to get it working again, paste the following in your terminal and press Enter:
cd /tmp && wget https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+archive/partner/+files /adobe-flashplugin_11.2.202.243.orig.tar.gz && sudo /usr/lib /flashplugin-installer/install_plugin /tmp/adobe- flashplugin_11.2.202.243.orig.tar.gz This will download the tarball from Launchpad (as shown in the previous comments), put it in the /tmp folder and install it afterwards. Basically, it will do what flashplugin-installer does. You might have to restart your browser(s) afterwards. I don't really understand why the regular process hangs, because clicking the download link from the terminal (the tarball it never seems to download), does result in my browser being able to access the link without any problems. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1064743 Title: flash plugin 11.2.202.243ubuntu0.10.04.1 tar.gz file missing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-notifier/+bug/1064743/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
