I came back to linux. It's now my only system I use. I had a problem
with the installer (12.04 kubuntu), it simply crashes while partioning.
But I think you should add more knowledge to the installer.
What are
/
/home
/boot
ext2/ext3
etc
And where to install the GRUB!!
If you are totally new to linux you have no idea what those directories
and filesystems are.
ANd for somereason I had on the list multiple times of the same
filesystems!!
