I'm getting this error with a core dump from both the stock VLC for Feisty and the newest SVN. I've also tried upgrading to 0.8.1 of libmatroska with no luck.
In my case, the error is fixed if the file is local. When read over a Samba share, every time I seek, VLC crashes with a segfault. When copied to the local drive, seeking works flawlessly. Is anyone else's problem solved by moving the file to the local drive?
