Almost forgot to post... so: I'm using linux mint 13 with cinnamon, and I get a similar error like you guys, mostly it's "just" a trap int 3, but a bit rarely it's a segfault.

I don't know if it's a related problem, but sometimes I get something that looks like a dead lock in the kernel during shutdown. Something like "unable to handle kernel paging request at [address]", some stack traces, and also watchdog errors, and a lock on CPU0.
