Public bug reported:
I had installed unity-webapps-googleplus and wanted to remove it, which
I did using the following command:
sudo apt-get purge unity-webapps-googleplus
It worked but the Google+ entry in messages indicator was not removed. I
had to remove it by myself by deleting the file:
~/.local/share/applications/Googleplusgooglecom.desktop
I think removing the package should also remove this file.
