Yes, the same happened to me few times. I rotated by Ctrl-R, so clockwise, usually twice. I want to notice: the file is saved properly, the program freezes after hiding saving progress window. Interface works, I can click it, but nothing happens - engine seems to be dead. Steps i made: download the file (jpeg 1-3 mpix color picture works best on Desktop) rotate it at least twice save it try to do anything with eog please consider if it is not "high importance" bug
