Hi, this is great, seems like a possible explanation. I just tested with kernel from #80 and 3.5.0-16 and the computer didn't boot correctly. Then tested with mainline 3.6.0 , it booted correctly and I have all fn-keys working (except screen brightness) I'll update tomorrow if the situation changes.
