In my case the issue arises when resuming from suspend on a laptop, using wlan for network connectivity. After resuming, ifconfig doesn't show the sixxs interface, and aiccu service status is "stopped". Obviously IPv6 connectivity is unavailable in this situation.
I'll do some poking around to see if I can identify a root cause. Sounds like the real issue is whatever's causing aiccu to stop.
