I tried over the weekend with a Xen guest and 1, 2, and 4 CPUs. No luck in failing.
Just a general question for understanding: it is the original volume that gets zeroed. And out of curiosity: am I understanding this correctly, that the snapshot is kept as is and the origin is handed out to be used in a guest? Just wondering why that way and not let the snapshot get modified (no, this is not really related to the problem). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1023755 Title: Precise kernel locks up while dd to /dev/mapper files > 1Gb (was: Unable to delete volume) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/cinder/+bug/1023755/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
