The WhirlwindWarp screensaver, viewed in the screensaver selection window, also crashes my system when compiz is enabled. Braid has the same effect.
ctrl-alt-backspc works, but only a few minutes after I hit it. Until then it looks like a hard freeze. I'm running Feisty on a Pentium-D in 32 bit mode with NVidia-new drivers.
