Having consulted legal, the terminology difference was because of the difference in context
1. the user is just looking at Online Accounts, legal notice doesn't necessarily apply to what they are intending to do 2. the user is actually being asked for their personal details, and wants to know what is being done with them. To maintain consistency with other settings panels the "Legal Notice" should be placed top right of the online accounts panel To minimise additional UI elements, "Learn more" has been added within the context of the copy text explanation during account verification. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1056718 Title: [UIFe] Add legal notice buttons to UI To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center-signon/+bug/1056718/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
