running latest ubuntu server  2012 September 25

After installing libapache2-mod-auth-cas
service apache2 restart.

Error:

apache2: Syntax error on line 239 of /etc/apache2/apache2.conf: Syntax error on 
line 1 of /etc/apache2/mods-enabled/auth_cas.load: Cannot load 
/usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_auth_cas.so into server: 
/usr/lib/apache2/modules/mod_auth_cas.so: undefined symbol: 
CRYPTO_THREADID_get_id_callback

Issue seemed to be the version of libapache2-mod-auth-cas.

Solution:
git clone https://github.com/Jasig/mod_auth_cas.git
