I would like to second this. It's been on my wish list for quite a while. In fact, I would strongly favor offering a pre-built kernel as debian does.
I am using vservers extensively on servers and they're very useful on my laptop for simulations and other developments. I had been using the 2.6.17-11 kernel at uni-klu. On my laptop I upgraded to feisty and I am now using 2.6.18 from debian. There are a few side effects I could do without (and possibly unidentified others), but thankfully I managed to resolve them. And any new server that I build will no doubt be using debian.
