I reported the error above Synaptic is running so I am trying to fix the broken packages with Synaptic.
When I applied the following changes with Synaptic I got the following error: Preconfiguring packages ... dpkg: error: parsing file '/var/lib/dpkg/status' near line 21986 package 'libsdl-image1.2:i386': mixed non-coinstallable and coinstallable package instances present W: Waited for dpkg --assert-multi-arch but it wasn't there - dpkgGo (10: No child processes) E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (2) A package failed to install. Trying to recover: dpkg: error: parsing file '/var/lib/dpkg/status' near line 21986 package 'libsdl-image1.2:i386': mixed non-coinstallable and coinstallable package instances present Synaptic said "not all the changes and updates succeeded" I cannot upgrade!
