Public bug reported: Steps to Reproduce: 1. Login to openvpn using nm-applet. 2. Suspend your computer by closing the lid 3. Unsuspend your computer and log back in 4. See that the openvpn "lock" icon is still there - even if the VPN is not connected 5. Connect to the VPN again. 6. See the openvpn "lock" icon does not disengage, and the only indication that the VPN is reconnecting is flashing wireless majiggy.
What should be happening: The openvpn 'lock' icon should not be showing after a suspend - the VPN is disconnected. Otherwise, just make the VPN connect again, while showing the connecting animation. ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1055093 Title: nm-applet openvpn icon still seen after suspend To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/1055093/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
