Ok, I got more data... I plugged another iPod nano (2G) and it worked. Umounted it and plugged mine, it also worked. Umounted a couple of times and now is not recognizing anymore. It's not even charging or giving the msg to not unplug.
I them tried plugging a non-powered USB hub (with a half inch cable), plugging and external USB HD, a USB pen and iPod 4G on hub. Also did not work. Attached is a file with the mesgs I got from dmesg as I did all of these steps.
