Public bug reported: I have an Asus P5LD2-VM Motherboard (Intel 945G chiptset) with a built in Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 graphics card (i915 kernel module). It is a fresh install of 6.0.6.1 amd64 with all updates as of Aug. 31 2006.
On logout, restart or shutdown, when in X, the system freezes with a black screen (with some video garbage on screen). The only way out is with a hard reset. This happened with the live CD as well.
