What does "apt-cache policy libudev0:amd64 libudev0:i386" show? They should both show the same available version.
Anyway, Ubuntu never supported smart as a package manager, and it has never been tested with multiarch. I think Landscape moved from smart to apt a while ago, are you using the latest client? To fix this for you, perhaps you can try "sudo apt-get purge --auto- remove libudev0:i386" and verify that this doesn't remove i386 packages you deeply care about. If it does, you can re-install them after the upgrade and apt-get install -f? I'm closing the bug as this is not a bug in udev. We can continue discussing how to fix your system here, of course. ** Changed in: udev (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Invalid ** Also affects: landscape-client Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1027970 Title: package libudev0 175-0ubuntu9.1 failed to install/upgrade: libudev0:amd64 175-0ubuntu9.1 cannot be configured because libudev0 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/landscape-client/+bug/1027970/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
