I'm running Ubuntu server 12.04 and two PCI USB-3 cards:
USB controller: Etron Technology, Inc. EJ168 USB 3.0 Host Controller (rev 01)
No matter what device is attached to USB card, it didn't show up at all.
I was testing those cards before on 11.10 server and they were working fine.
I did try to update to latest kernel like suggested in bug $1034248 (still
marked as Incomplete, last comment a month ago)
