Public bug reported: This problem concerns a 7-node cluster, based on Ubuntu 12.04 and KVM. There are 3 shared SAN-Cluster-sources, one of which is containing the virtual machine files. >From one node, virtual machines are generated via virt-manager. Now I tried twice to install Ubunto 12.10 on a new vm; at different points of the installation process, the installation stops (while the animation screens of the installation routine are selectable furthermore). In this situation, the complete cluster looses connect to the SAN-device and several other vm's die. ls, gfs2_tool on /mnt/sanx are hanging endless; Only a reboot of node 1 can solve this situation.
In earlier times, I had the same experiences installing Debian_6 (reproducable).
